Thomas Samson

Director of public relations

Thomas Samson, one of the Director of Public Relations, is responsible for managing Project Amity’s social media accounts. He is currently a third-year undergraduate student at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he is studying Health Sciences. He is currently involved in a research project involved with metal nanoparticles and its potential applications in biomedical diagnosing. Prior to joining the launch of Project Amity in May 2020, Thomas has been an active community volunteer. He has served as a Youth Director on the Board of Directors at West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre where he advocated for the voice of the attending youth members in the surrounding neighbourhood. In his spare time, Thomas enjoys participating in recreational sports, playing Rockband, and spending time with family and friends. His favourite quote is from Steve Jobs - “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.”
