Stuart McKinlay

Vice President

Stuart McKinlay, Vice President, manages the administrative duties of the organization and oversees team outreach initiatives. Stuart has been involved with Project Amity since May of 2020. Previously, he was involved in creating a start-up initiative in his local community that provided elementary school students with opportunities to explore and become involved in music. Stuart is currently completing his undergraduate studies at McMaster University in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program. Alongside his studies, he is currently one of the volunteer coordinators for a Hamilton, Ontario, cardiology clinic, where he is responsible for leading initiatives that empower patients and educate them on their health. He has also been a member of the McMaster Science Society Welcome Week team since 2018, where he has helped over 2,000 students transition to university each year. When he is not leading roll calls during Welcome Week, Stuart can be found cheering on his beloved Toronto sports teams. With mental health a major focus in the media lately, Stuart knows that the pandemic has been very difficult for many. He hopes he can continue to try and find safe and unique ways to keep people connected.
