Ascharya Balaji

Director of development/ fundraising

Ascharya Balaji is the director of development and fundraising for Project Amity. She handles the development of our non-profit’s fundraising campaigns, communicates with current and prospective donors, and builds a stronger development team for our organization. Ascharya graduated with a B.Sc in Biology and currently conducts cancer research at the National Institutes of Health. She also works as an EMT in Bethesda. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, photography and practices yoga. Ascharya strongly believes that just one step towards collective change can help transform the world for better.
